s part of Sotheby’s Hong Kong Spring Sale Series, this March 31st
will unveil an unprecedented and perhaps one of the company’s
most important wine sales encompassing 800 lots of fine wines
assembled over the span of three decades by a long-established
A wine connoisseur. Wishing to remain anonymous, this inspiring
individual will donate all net proceeds from this sale to improve health and
education conditions of children and young adults in rural China through
the Rural Education Action Program (REAP) of Stanford University, which
will be the major beneficiary of the sale.
Sotheby’s Hong Kong is greatly honored to host this remarkable
event. Considered to be the largest wine offering of its kind in Asia by a
single collector, it encompasses wines acquired in the late 1980s and early
1990s from reputable sources in the UK, including Sotheby’s London,
with a total estimated value of HK$60 million / US$7.7 million. The
proceeds of this unprecedented offering, comprised of the greatest wines
ever made in Bordeaux, many of which still remain in their original cases,
is intended to create a notable humanitarian impact in the rural areas of
China where it is most needed, effecting the livelihoods of families for
generations to come.

作為今年春拍其中一個重點拍賣項目，蘇富比將
於3月31日隆重呈獻「佳醇澤釀：窖藏拍賣惠捐慈
善用途」，可能是蘇富比在亞洲區歷來價值最高的
單一藏家專拍。拍賣總估價達6,000萬港元，呈獻
800件拍品，乃一位洋酒鑑藏家歷三十餘年精心
蒐集的成果。本拍賣淨收益將被全數捐出，目標
是改善中國農村地區兒童及青少年的衛生健康和
教育環境，當中主要是通過史丹福大學「農村教
育行動計劃」（簡稱 REAP）的當地項目；而 REAP
正是本拍賣的最大受益單位。
蘇富比很榮幸能呈獻一個如此優秀的洋酒珍
藏，並向藏家分享拍賣背後的重大意義。本次上
拍的佳釀，不少是藏家於1980年代末及1990年代
初，從具信譽的來源購入，包括倫敦蘇富比及英
國酒商等。大部分1988年及以後的年份在買入時
皆為「期酒」。購入的佳釀被儲存於倫敦 Trapp’s
Cellars，直至2003年全部轉移至英國威特爾郡
Octavian Vaults。洋酒均貯存在清涼潮濕的理想
環境下，幾乎未經移動。
